Founded in January 2007, we have worked with over 30 clients in both the private and public sector spaces, of all sizes and engagement types.

Function1 offers a comprehensive and growing product line that provides rapid ROI for WebCenter customers that are interested in delivering immediate value to end users and portal administrators. From rich email integration to comprehensive RSS support, WebCenter service monitoring and advanced security management tools, Function1 continues to develop product offerings for our clients based on real business needs. Product prices are typically less than the cost of bringing in a consultant for 2 weeks, and with ongoing maintenance, current customers are entitled to support and upgrades as they're continually developed.

Function1 also offers a unique Co-funded Development model; we work with customers who are interested in new offerings for their user base, delivering the products at fixed cost and with free maintenance contracts. Whether it's an existing product enhancement or entirely new offering, Function1 will develop the application and continue development for other clients even after the product has been delivered to the initial customer. This provides customers with an existing code base to more rapidly develop solutions by technology experts, plus a continuing stream of updates and bug fixes after the original engagement has been completed.

The experts at Function1 have deep knowledge of the AquaLogic stack, and are able to leverage that expertise to deliver a Hosted Portal, where the entire environment is hosted, maintained, and supported by us. If your business requires you to run your primary environment in-house, we also have a Disaster Recovery offering where we will mirror your portal infrastructure off-site and rapidly bring the infrastructure on-line in the event of a loss of service in your environment.

Not ready to completely outsource your product stack, but are burdened by the cost of maintaining in-house expertise to support and monitor the application infrastructure? Function1 can help with Remote Support Services, where customers buy blocks of hours, and are able to call on an AquaLogic expert at any time to resolve any infrastructure issue. Taking this a step further, we also have a Hosted Monitoring offering, where we leverage our intimate product knowledge, best of breed monitoring product, and resident experts to deliver a comprehensive monitoring solution, where all aspects of the portal stack are monitored 24x7x365. If an error is detected, a Function1 expert will connect to the environment and resolve the exception without the need for consuming in-house resources.
